Earlier this year, the country of Haiti descended into dangerous, lawless chaos. As a result, tens of thousands of displaced people are now living in the streets seeking help.

Across all of our projects that serve people with visual disabilities, 98% of those who receive a Braille Bible report spiritual growth and a deeper relationship with God.

In partnership with Youth For Christ, Comox Valley, the Canadian Bible Society provided Ukrainian-language Bible resources to meet the spiritual needs of the Ukrainian newcomers. Several Ukrainian families, displaced by the war in Ukraine, received the gift of hope and peace through God's Word this past Christmas.
