Un siècle de mission – Le début d’un nouveau chapitre
Avril 2025 – Québec
For over 100 years, the Canadian Bible Society (CBS) has faithfully worked to spread God’s Word in Quebec and across Canada. This legacy of Bible translation, publication, distribution, and engagement continues today as we embrace a new chapter in our mission. As part of our ongoing commitment to serve people more effectively, we are preparing to move to a new location in Quebec City.
While the final details of our new location are still being finalized, this relocation reflects our desire to create a space that responds to the spiritual and communal needs of today. The new CBS Quebec space will be interactive, engaging, and welcoming – a Christian community centre designed to inspire connection, exploration, and reflection.
Our hope is to create a renewed resource centre that offers Bibles and Scriptural materials, while fostering spiritual growth and providing a welcoming environment for individuals. The new space will be equipped to host a variety of meaningful gatherings, including Bible studies, discussions, debates and presentations, book and album launches, shared meals, and more. It will be a place where the Bible is not just available but experienced – through Scripture, relationships, and shared reflection.
“This move gives us the opportunity to be even more present in the heart of the community,” said Jordan Roy, Regional Director for CBS Quebec. “We’re creating a space where people feel welcome to explore, ask questions, and encounter the Bible in ways that speak to their daily lives. We want them to feel at home here.”
CBS will continue to make the Bible accessible in Quebec by supporting online purchases and helping visitors browse collections on-site. As we move forward in faith, we remain committed to serving Quebec’s Christian community with the Word of God.
